Clostridium perfringens type C and D and Clostridium tetani (CDT)

  •  For treatment of:          This is the immunization use to prevent Enterotoxemia.

    • Goat dose: Under the Skin (SQ) Injection

      • 2ml (no matter what weight)- once or twice annually

      • Give to does one month before kidding.

      • Give to kids whose mother was vaccinated at 6 weeks and 21 days later.

      • Give to kids whose mother was not vaccinated at one month of age, a second does 21 days later and a third does 21 days after that.

Pepto-Bismol / Kaopectate

  • For treatment of           Diarrhea control

  • Goat dose: Oral - As directed on label for humans

  • Notes: Do not use Immodium AD to control diarrhea in goats. It interferes with the peristaltic action of the gut and causes death.

Vitamin B Complex

  • For treatment of:          Anemia in goats

    • Goat dose: SQ Injection

      • 1 cc per 25 lbs

Red Cell

  • Vitamin & Mineral source.

  • Aids in the treatment of anemia.

    • Goat dose: Orally

      • 1.5 cc per 25 lbs

Nutri-Drench

  • Nutrient source

  • Used to treat pregnancy toxemia, enterotoxemia, E. coli ("watery mouth"), fly strike & any that are too heavily stressed by parasites, weather, lactation or pneumonia.

    • Goat dose: Orally

      • Newborns: 4mL (cc) = 2 pumps as soon as possible after birth. Goats and Sheep: 1 fl oz per 100 lbs. body weight.Maximum of once every 8 hours, as needed.
